SKYE’S EDGE

With winds exceeding 75 mph at Neist Point and rain battering my face, a quick handheld shot with a higher ISO to maintain a faster shutter speed was the best I could manage in such atrocious conditions.

DIÙRASACH In the foreground Loch Fleet begins to freeze over, revealing a frozen sandbank and a fallen tree, capturing your attention as the focal point. Moving on to the midground, a row of trees that are beautifully illuminated by the setting sun. Finally, your eyes are drawn to the snow capped hills in the background, creating a Jurassic Park vibe everytime I pass this place. Its raw and stunning beauty never fails to leave an impression.
