Ink drawing with pencil colours on white paper. Nearest to us is a cliff edge, the top of which is green; the sides of the cliff (which goes down below the frame of the picture) are red, green and black striped. Behind the cliff edge, on the right and in the background is an open flat plain with the same coloured stripes. In the sky, two faint, long grey clouds and a crescent moon (although the entire moon can be seen, the non-crescent bit is coloured black against the white sky of the paper). Quite near the cliff edge is a sign post with four sections, one on top of the other. Each section (and the stick that's stuck in the ground to hold it up) has a frame that is the same stripey look as before. The sign reads: "Harvey Creature and his Rival Orchestras. Live at Tigersgirth Village Hall. Tonight. Starts at sundown."

Rising up from behind two of the hills is... kind of someone in a strange astronaut or divers getup? We see her from the shoulders up in white outfit that goes up over her thin neck and covers her head - there is a face hole, edged with the same sequence of colours as the hills. She has a calm expression and faces us, blue lipstick, grey shading and an eyepatch over one eye. The top of the head section of the outfit develops into another part exactly the same but a little smaller and the face hole is entirely taken up by a wide eye. Also, a thin stick stands on top of the woman's head, propping up a steaming hot purple cup of tea. Steam rises into the white sky.

Against a blank white sky, a black tree branch snakes into view with lots if smaller branches coming off it, each lined with tiny bristles. Amongst the branches and sideways on, tilting towards upside down, a person in a long dress seems to quite calmly be stuck. Above her, two owlish bird things stand - they look like Kinder egg toy containers on long thin legs. They have many feathers and human faces. However, on the side of their heads are beaks. One has its beak and eyes closed, the other has its eyes and beak open.

In the distance, on the left, we see the ocean, with some purple hills on the horizon. The bottom of the sky is bright yellow which gradually fades to white. In the sky, a huge stylised cloud, slightly like a group of different sized tear drops on their sides, one behind the other. A similar cloud is seen nearer to the horizon. On the cliff, we find an invitation - someone in a smart, buttoned up top and long skirt (which are all grey) and also wearing a big cartoony rabbit head (which is all in primary colours) is gesturing us towards a ladder that is next to them. It goes straight up, off the top of the picture and is slightly rickety looking.

There is a painting by Monet in the National Gallery where, if you look closely, you can see grains of sand that were blown into the picture while he painted on the beach.
Similarly, a few of my pictures contain greasy spots from Quavers.

Ink drawing with pencil colours on white paper. We have someone stood at the very edge of an enormous hole in the ground or a canyon or something, but this is all very simplified - it's like the ground is the top of a box and where it leads down into the canyon is like the side of that same box. This is all red, dark blue and white striped, as is a distant hill. The person stood at the edge... well, they have black trousers, a red jacket and they are playing a blue guitar. However, where you would normally find a person's head is instead balanced a big block of dripping ice, and contained within it are a brown bowler hat and two human skulls. One of the skulls has a third eye socket in the forehead.

New picture, which is a good picture if you like guitars, stripes, skulls, bowler hats or pictures.

I had one of these. When my mum used to do the ironing, she looked forward to this being next in the basket. A little insight into our exciting Sunday afternoons.

Over this landscape, a monstrous thing walks; its head, seen in profile, is almost skull-like. Long yellow teeth and a yellow eye, its head gets wider as it goes up and then stops at a straight edge. On the side of this head is a house surrounded by tall, leafless trees that stretch out behind the creature. Its neck and thin body are a straight horizontal line coming out of the bottom of the head. Out of the body emerge two legs and an arm with outstretched hand. Its other arm is doing the same thing but coming out of the top of its head. Next to the house can be seen very tiny people standing, although several have fallen off and are heading towards the ground.
