//Hey! Now that sounds like fun. I have a great crossover with a Daryl so Sam in TWD verse or Carol in the SPN verse would be fun! My dm’s are open for further plotting.

No sooner than he says this than he starts to hear the sounds of groaning coming closer. He really hopes there isn’t a broken area or open fence because there’s far too many for them to fight off.
He’s antsy, fidgeting and looking around. He has to find a way to backtrack to his car.
“Listen man. I just need to get away from here until they all pass. Then I need to get back to my car. I have food there. Water. I’ve been hoarding and rationing it. -
If Dean could see him now, he’d roll his eyes at Sam for being caught in this situation.
“No I’m not bitten but we need to run! There’s a horde right behind me. They may not be able to climb but if there’s a way around, they’ll find it!” -
His only option for escape is to jump the nearby fence and head towards the woods. He runs fast and jumps the fence quickly only to come face to face with a survivalist holding a crossbow aimed right at his head.
“Wait! Don’t shoot! I’m human. Still alive!”
“No!”
He found the street also had several of the walkers now ambling their way towards him.
He looks around desperate for a way out, his gun in his hand but he knows he doesn’t have enough bullets to take them all out. -
Not only was she dead, there were several of the undead eating her and dozens more who noticed Sam. Sam who was alive and apparently fresh meat for them. Horrified, Sam starts to run back in the direction in which he had first started. -

Perhaps they’d left behind food and water. He was rationing what he had and it was smart to always look for more. A blanket and jacket wouldn’t be a bad idea. The days were warm but the nights were getting cooler. -
How he missed pretty much all the things he used to take for granted. Electricity, hot running water, diners.
He missed Dean.
He pulls his car over to walk the streets of the small town he was in. It seemed quiet enough. He had not seen anyone alive or dead for days so he thought it was safe. -
It was as if all the lines had been cut and there was no way to communicate with anyone.
Now here he was. All alone and traveling through the backwoods of Georgia trying to find his way to Lawrence, Kansas using a map of all things. How he missed GPS. -
Real bad. Take care of yourself ok? I’ll find you. One way or another, I’ll find you.”
He remembered hearing Bobby’s voice in the background before the line went dead.
After that, he could no longer reach Dean. It wasn’t that Dean wasn’t answering. There was just simply no more service. -
Listen to me carefully. If everything goes south, follow the plan Sammy. Go to Lawrence. I’ll find you. If you get there first but can’t stay for whatever reason, leave me a note.
Paint it on the walls, leave me a sign so I know you were there. I’ll do the same. Things are getting bad Sam. -
“Bobby and I have learned this much. Don’t get bit. It’s in the blood somehow. It’s spreading fast Sammy. I don’t know how much longer it will be before everything goes dark.
Remember our contingency plan? The one we made with dad and later joked about? -
People are dying from this thing. It’s worse than the croatoan virus. If you get this new one, you die but you don’t stay dead. You come back.”
He remembers clearly how Dean’s voice had broken and sounded so strained. -
What about zombies? Are you and Bobby having a movie marathon?”
He remembered laughing at his own joke until Dean’s sharp voice had gotten through to him.
“Dammit Sam! I need you to listen! I don’t know how much longer we’ll have power so listen carefully. Pay attention to the news. -
It wasn’t until he had spoken to Dean that he’d realized the news coming out of the media was worse than expected. He still clearly remembered that last conversation.
“Dean, slow down. What are you talking about? Zombies? Dean? You’re breaking up. -
Somewhere along the way, he’d started hearing reports of a strange viral outbreak. Admittedly he should have paid better attention to the news at the time but he was convinced the news had been reporting a terrible flu season. -
23.10.2023 04:21 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0It was now 59 days since the world ended.
59 days since he had last seen Dean. There had been a lull between cases and Dean had gone with Bobby to somewhere in Oregon while Sam wanted to check out the site of an unsolved haunting in Atlanta. -

Sam stared at his phone willing for it to ring but knowing it would never happen. The battery was running low and he hoped to be able to conserve some power before trying again. -
