EU Climate Law: new way to reach 2040 targets The Commission has proposed an amendment to the EU Climate Law, setting a 2040 EU climate target of 90% reduction in net greenhouse gas emissions, compared to 1990 levels.

REPowerEU 3 years on: Commission takes stock of progress to phase out Russian fossil fuels Marking 3 years since the launch of the REPowerEU Plan, the Commission takes stock of progress towards cleaner, more autonomous and affordable energy.

Stocktake 3 years of RepowerEU:
‼️Imports of RU gas from 150 bcm in 2021 to 52 bcm in 2024
‼️ Russian gas imports fell from 45% to 19%.
