Yep. Her truck is still in the shop. When the tire train broke, it actually damaged a lot of things from the brake line to transfer case to ABS. So they dug her handlers truck out to use and welp 🙈 thankfully Joe had a fire extinguisher on hand, and was able to fix it to get them back on the road.

We (myself, @flightriskmushing.bsky.social , and two other friends) made it to Alaska last night to support @sibersong.bsky.social ! Jaye made it safely to the hotel shortly after us (after her eventful trip started with her handler's dog truck catching on fire). Vet checks went well today!

I've been quiet as I was busy today packing to leave for Alaska tomorrow!!!!! But the latest update is:

Bib 6 Nicolas Belanger finished at 6:42:53 pm in 7th place

Bib 1 Gilles Harnois finished at 9:59:47 pm in 8th place

Bib 4 Mark Roberts is the last on the trail, he had left Allagash at 9:43pm.

She was in the 30, Catherine Benson :) she has some dogs from Karyu and Shirou's breeders!

Lastly bib #4 Mark Roberts has made it to Allagash where he is resting. He can't leave until 5:07:40 pm EST, and could opt to take extra rest as Can Am is very generous with the mandatory leave time. Technically teams have until 6am tomorrow morning to leave Allagash, so he has 13 hours leeway.

Bib #1 Gilles Harnois left Allagash at 11:33:44 am EST. I suspect we'll see him finish late tonight.

I see bib #10 Jeffrey Baril has come into the finish in 6th at 2:12:30 pm EST. Only three mushers remain on the trail now.

Bib #6 Nicolas Belanger left Allagash at 11:17:29 am EST, so I suspect we will see him finish late afternoon to early evening.

Bib #2 Amy Dionne has finished at Lonesome Pine with a time of 1:21:36 pm EST, fifth in.

Amy has had some really strong runs this season! That's a great finish!

In third and fourth, Bib #11 Tristan Longchamps and Bib #9 Andre Longchamps have crossed the finish line at Lonesome Pine Trails.

For the Allagash checkpoint
Bib #1 Gilles Harnois is in at 6:00:36 am and can leave at 11:00:36 am

That only leaves #4 Mark Roberts still on the trail for teams into Allagash.

Keith Aili is the first musher to cross the 250 finish line!

Keith was 6 miles from the finish at 6:31 am EST. I'd expect him in around 7 or shortly after as his last leg he was travelling close to 10mph.

If this Can Am plays out similar to past years that ran a similar pace to this, I think we can expect Keith into the finish anytime now as I'd expect him between 6am and 7am.

With the three scratches, there are 9 left in the race. Per my above posts 4 are racing to the finish, 3 are resting at Allagash. The other two are bib #1 Gilles Harnois and bib #4 Mark Roberts who are still making their way to Allagash. These are the only two Siberian teams left in the race now.

There are three resting at Allagash right now for their mandatory 5 hours.

Bib #10 Jeffrey Baril arrived at 12:11:50 am EST and can leave by 5:11:50 am

Bib #2 Amy Dionne arrived at 12:26:56 am and can leave by 5:26:56 am

Bib #6 Nicolas Belanger arrived at 1:22:17 am and can leave by 6:22:17

While I was sleeping, mushers got back on the trail out of Allagash and are heading to the finish.

Also scratched is bib #7 at Syl-Ver. I wasn't too surprised by that personally considering how far behind they've been but it's always disappointing. You can tell this was a tough Can Am with 3 scratches at Syl-Ver!

I confirmed the scratch for bib #14 was legit. Kasey contributed it to a really rough trail on the dogs and scratched for the best interest of her team. She gave it a great try!!!!

Bib #9 and bib #11 the Longchamps are in Allagash.

Bib #14 Kasey McCarty is being marked as a scratch again at Syl-Ver 🥲 it may be real this time unless there's some kind of glitch going on

Bib #5 Erin Altemus is in Allagash as of 9:29:30 pm EST

Bib #7 is in Syl-Ver as of 8:31:39 pm EST! That means all teams are either in Syl-Ver, on their way to Allagash, or if they're Keith, in Allagash lol.

Bib #13 Keith Aili continuing to blaze the trail. He arrived in Allagash, the last checkpoint, at 8:16:30 pm EST today 03/01/26.

Bib #5, 9, 10, and 11 have all already passed the safety station approx 28 miles into the 56 mile leg. These teams are cruising!

Bib #4 Mark Roberts is in Syl-Ver as of 7:27:36 pm EST. One musher to go for Syl-Ver arrivals!

Currently as far as we know, we have 11 in the race. The seven heading to Allagash, Gilles and Kasey resting at Syl-Ver, and Mark and Jonathon still making their way to Syl-Ver.

Edit. I may have spoken too soon. The page definitely showed a scratch 20 minutes ago, but has since been updated back to her EDT. All the best vibes for Kasey!!!

It appears bib #14 Kasey has scratched at Syl-Ver per the timing sheet. She was having a great run with a team of purebred Siberians, I'm proud of her for trying! She really has phenomenal dogs.
