Well this rare Bluesky post from me in regards to that assassination incident.

All I could say is you can acknowledge his flaws and misdeeds while not disrespecting his passing.

If you can't or even not want do that and doesn't even knew about that, then don't talked about it in the first place.

All of that just shows how politics had made people became toxic individuals with tribalistic mindset while any kind of nuance discourse would be thrown out of window.

And social media like X or Twitter and Bluesky amplifies the toxicity even further.

No really I saw posts on X "Glazing" his death and condemn others for pointing out his controversial political views and opinions while posts on Bluesky celebrates his death and even thinks that he deserved to be shot for his views and opinions.

Honestly seeing many posts regarding Charlie's assassination incident only shows me how politics erodes any kind of nuances and giving most people on both groups a tribalistic mindset.

It is a shame people nowdays cannot respects someone's passing while acknowledging their flaws respectively.

Thanks for clarification. To be clear there are people who are skeptical about unions in general. Granted Unions does benifits the workers to protect their own, but there are some things that made people distrust Unions. And unfortunately the recent controversy sours things futher for those people.

I think the AI protections from all around the world needs to be studied and how the differences those countries that handle VA (Or copyright) protection.

Yeah I think there are better ways to handle this situation than just lashing out for VA outside from US and unaware about the current VA strike.

Yeah this makes me sound like a hypocrite, but I the more I learn about it, the more I understand why Voice Actors are upset about this since one of their colleague is getting recast. I can only hope there would be a negotiation for both parties after this debacle.

To be honest, all I could say is it would be better to inform that new VA about the strike than attacking them (To the point of calling them a "Scab") just because they replacing the VA who's on strike while they had no idea about that VA strike.
