I froze some and have committed to more cookery, which is good. It’s been a good experience, probably the best of the “food rescue” apps.

So far, we've very happy with it: little to no plastic, a good selection of things including fruit/veg we haven't had much experience with (taro, tomatillo, pomelo), and you can see what's on the list every week and pause when you're out of town/have lots of veg.

If anyone wants an Odd Bunch referral link, I've got one to share.

It's a new fruit/veg delivery service, where they work with local farmers/coops and rescue ugly/unwanted produce. And they’ve just started delivering to Manitoba…

So today I got my fitst Xmas gift!

So @karendudley.bsky.social has been stained glassing up a storm and I recently got to visit her studio, drink tea/eat cake and look at glass. Which is a pretty good time to begin with, even without her gifting me one of her scrap-glass birbs (note the rubber boots).
