Sinners was shot in New Orleans, so ofcourse I pulled his Astrocartography. Perfection. Sits directly on his Sun DS line. In his relocation chart- the Sun and Venus move to the 7th highlighting collaboration.

The 8th house can also indicate sudden events, unexpected twists, or even a focus on death and mortality. These themes can be present in suspenseful or dramatic films.

His intention for depth, love for horror and also his way of direction and story telling is so compelling. He gets to the root, but also explores what’s beyond the surface.

Speaking of birth charts, after seeing Sinners I had to find Ryan Coogler’s chart. I knew he was an 8th houser. Sun, Venus, Chiron AND Mercury are in the 8th house.
