Petition: Require candidates for MP to be registered to vote and residents of the UK Currently, a candidate for MP is not required to be registered to vote or be resident in the UK. We ask the Government to require candidates for MP be registered to vote and residents of the UK.

You'd think that residency in the UK would be a requirement to be a Member of Parliament but it isn't. I've checked.
If these petitions get enough signatures, they get attention so do take a minute to sign.
