Is it under appreciated that the National Guard showed up in support of the protesters, handing out donuts and such? Seems like a pivotal moment / laying down a marker.

One of N.J.’s largest cities bans ICE from city property The executive order prohibits immigration enforcement officers from processing detainees or setting up bases on city-owned property in New Jersey's second-largest city.

A good starting point for all mayors: "Jersey City’s resources, our property, our personnel, our tax dollars will not be weaponized against our own residents."

I don’t want to hear anything from an elected official unless it’s a plan to defund the DHS and impeach Noem, Bovino, etc. No texts. No emails. No talk about the economy. Step up or step off.

If anyone expects anything to change at this point, it’s not going to happen without changes across the board and that includes Chuck Schumer. We have real Democrats in the Senate. They have the power to change leadership at any time, and that needs to happen immediately.
