A good day but sobering on how hard to get one on target is. On a brighter note my 84mm Charlie G was spot on target (pic of me as No2 - we then swapped over)

We had a practice range set up during my time on South Georgia - trenches dug in the snow, the works. Everyone including the infantry (Gurkhas) threw short (there were targets set up). So really hard to do & it wasn’t a two way range if you get my drift although we were working in pairs..

Tragically another tourist (a young girl) drowned at Reynisfjara in southern #Iceland yesterday 😢. When people visit I make a point of telling them that the beach has extremely dangerous sneaker waves, even on calm days. Despite the warning light system people still go too close to the waves :(
