Insidious Roots A green and black enchantment that gives creature tokens the ability to tap for mana. It also makes plant tokens and puts +1/+1 counters on each plant you control when creatures leave your graveyard.

Sprout Swarm A green instant with Convoke and Buyback. It makes a 1/1 green saproling creature token.

Party Thrasher A red creature (lizard wizard, ha) that gives noncreature spells you cast from exile Convoke. At the start of your first main phase, you can discard a card to exile the top 2 cards of your library. You can choose one of them to play that turn.

They certainly do have similar vibes, but all do different things. Sprout Swarm in particular is one of my favs.

Insidious Roots A black and green enchantment that gives your creature tokens the ability to tap to add one mana of any color. It also makes a plant and puts a +1/+1 counter on all plants you control whenever one or more creature cards leave your graveyard.

Untimely Malfunction A red instant that can destroy an artifact, change the target of a spell or ability with a single target, or prevent up to 2 creatures from blocking this turn.

I've been really high on Insidious Roots, especially when paired with Tyvar, Jubilant Brawler. It's just a really flexible card that can do multiple things, depending on what deck you put it in.

Untimely Malfunction has also been a really fun modal spell. Protection and removal, all in one!

Last week on Wednesday, technically. Slimefoot is a thallid, and Slimefoot and Squee is my go to rn.

Hahaha loved this video. I feel like my Saproling token kinda fits here (probably still not AS cute, but closer at least).

Strangling Spores A card featuring a man in armor choking on spores. It's a black instant for 4 mana that gives target creature -3/-3 until the end of turn.

Outmuscle A cars that features a human suplexing a bear. It's a green sorcery for 4 mana that puts a +1/+1 counter on a creature you control, and has that creature fight another creature that you don't control. Spending 3 green mana on it gives your creature indestructible as well.

My favorite way to relax on removal/staples is to sub out said staples for more thematic (if less efficient) spells. Slimefoot will never not run Strangling Spores and I love running fight spells featuring bears in Ayula.

This would be a fun pdh build around! There might be better options for heroic voltron, but none are as cute as this guy.
