Shadowhawk getting into a fight with Brawn, accidentally magically summoning Dragon, Invincible, Witchblade, and Spawn.
Shadowhawk summoning Dragon, Invincible, Witchblade, and Spawn to fight an alien moleman type invasion.
Shadowhawk accidently summoning Dragon, Invincible, Witchblade, and Spawn for a third time. But now Witchblade has no armor, Dragon has no arms, Spawn has no head, and Invincible is wearing blue.
There was this great bit in Savage Dragon 144, where every panel represented a day in the life of Dragon and his family, and new Shadowhawk kept magically summoning Dragon, Invincible, Witchblade, and Spawn to him whenever he ran into a jam, much to their annoyance.

It's cool. I'll buy it. But I SUUUUUURE WISH it was Malcolm. I'll be real -- Anyone who was gonna buy a Savage Dragon from McFarlane toys would probably be just as likely (or even more likely) to buy a Malcolm. That said --- Coolness all the same.

Popeye actually cameoed in Savage Dragon aaaaaaall the way back in 2020 in Savage Dragon 252, when Erik was riffing on comic strips, and did this wonderful double page send up to the classic comic strip style of Popeye and its creator E. C. Segar.

Popeye the Sailor, who entered the public domain in 2025, guest-starred in this week's issue of Erik Larsen's Savage Dragon, establishing his lore within Image's shared universe.

Good news everyone, the Savage FINcast should probably be recording a new episode this week! With the goal of having it out next Wednesday for the release of Savage Dragon 278!
Apologies for being very quiet since the fall.
I've experimented with making the blue parts of Spider-Man's costume a solid black. You might think it makes things easier but it actually makes drawing him more complicated. There are certain poses that become indecipherable when limbs are overlapped or if he's over a dark background.

Excerpt from Savage Dragon in which trafficked women just rescued by two superheroes and the younger, mixed (alien and Black human) superhero are arrested by ICE.
Savage Dragon can do things like have ICE acting like ICE and being horrible because it's not owned by something working closely with the CIA, the FBI, or the Army. Or, Warner Bros and Disney. A lot of indie comics could, really, but props to Erik Larsen for doing it.

Not to be a noodge (while acknowledging that I’m perfectly capable of being a noodge) but there was a time when people pasting up covers would make the logo as big as possible so that readers could easily see it. I left plenty of room on this cover (see figure 2)! What happened?
