The bill last numbered H.R. 9495 would empower the Treasury Secretary to designate any nonprofit the Secretary wishes to kill a “terrorist supporting organization” and revoke the tax-exempt status on which it depends for survival. Unconstitutional but lethal in the harm it would do while in force.

The Irish far-right 'says no' bigots have an awful lot to answer for on this island. Their tactics spread to the UK, mostly notably England. Same chant, same hatefilled bigots - just a different flag. Although are own are known to have a liking for the auld union fleg at times...

Got to see the new Waiting for Godot production with @alexwinter.com and it's phenomenal. Highly recommend. Loved every aspect of the production - set, lights, design, performances. See it if you can!

I was 4 when it happened. Mom was baking cookies. A towel was on the kitchen table for hot cookies. She'd moved cookies when the announcement was on the radio.
The white rings, from the heat, left behind, are still on the table. It's mine now, refinishing didn't fix the rings, a lasting reminder.

I was in 8th grade math class when my teacher told us. Next class was Language Arts and my teacher, Mrs. Stone, simply could not teach. We all sat stunned and silently crying.

Wow, I was also in second grade. An announcement came over the intercom and Miss Burwell began to cry. My mom stayed home from work to watch the funeral on TV. Pretty confusing for a kid to see her teacher and her mom break down in the same week.

I was in second grade too, home from school that day with my Mom who was ironing. I remember Walter Cronkite taking off his glasses to look at the clock to tell the time of Kennedy’s death and his eyes were full of tears. That’s when my Mom and me cried.

I was in second grade. Another teacher burst into the room and ran toward Mrs Walton crying - The President has been shot “.
Mrs Walton started to cry.
That night was the first time I ever saw my dad cry. I was shocked because I knew he voted for Nixon.

My dad was the mailman at the local radio station & was there when the ticker tape message came in. Said he called his mom, using the reporters phone & told her "put on the TV. Bad news coming."

The cab did not have a radio. I didn't know what he meant. I came home -- we were on Fifth Avenue at the time -- and I got out of the taxi, the doorman came to me. He had tears in his eyes. He said, "Oh, Mr. Nixon. Have you heard, sir?"

I had been in Dallas speaking to the Pepsi Cola people. I was their lawyer. I landed in New York, Idlewild, about 1:30. I was in a taxi near the 59th St. Bridge. We were stopped at the light and a man said, "Do you have a radio? I just heard the President was shot."

I believe wholeheartedly music connects us all. A song could be written in a whole other language, but you still feel it. You still get it and understand. There's a lot of beauty in that

DC jury acquitted the Sandwich Guy. Lindsay Halligan can’t even bring an indictment because she’s not legit. Jeanine Pirro couldn't get a conviction because she’s incompetent.

As the judge pointed out, incompetent Pam Bondi completely screwed up the appointment of Halligan in violation of the law.
