Researchers from Cal Poly Humboldt + Macedoniaβs Institute and MuseumβBitola and are uncovering the mysteries of this once thriving city.
It was previously thought to have been an ancient military outpost.
But Cal Poly Humboldt's Nick Angeloff and his team found much more: tangible evidence of a thriving settlement dating back to at least 360 b.c., which may have been a lost capital city.
