My biggest misconception and failure this election was ever believing that the United States would ever elect a black woman as president.

I've talked to a few folks this morning who were talking about stopping work on their creative projects. Because it's "not important anymore."

I don't know who needs to hear this, but DON'T DO THAT.

We win by living our lives as loudly and truly as we can. That includes your "silly" art project.

Do not obey in advance. Resist. Do not offer an oppressive government what it wants. Do not anticipate its needs and offer up what you think it wants. To do so teaches power what it can do.
