Talita Leonardo's injured cat scam is part of an organized scam crime ring that has been around for several years. In the last few months, it looks like they have upgraded to a bot operation capably of following 1000's in a matter of hours. She has threatened people on Bluesky and on PayPal.

She never followed you. You were not on her follower list. She just used a repost of your post as cover for her scam. She uses reposts of popular cat, animal and nature photo posting accounts to make her scam accounts look legit. Just check your notifications when you are reposted.

Talita Leonardo's injured cat scam will be back and may use your posts of animal photos as cover again. She preemptively blocks any threats. Over 80 scam accounts suspended on Bluesky. Now you know what to look for. Cat injured, needs surgery, PayPal link to steal money follows.
