Ron snapped the box shut. “Erm. That it was mate…”

He looked around to his entire family gathered around the burrow table, faces many shades of awkward.

Ron cleared his throat, hoping to cut through the tension.

“Right then. Who’s ready for some cock CAKE. I SAID CAKE! LET’S HAVE SOME CAKE.”

“Do you like it?” Draco was waiting on tenterhooks for Ron’s review.

He gulped. “Of course I do. I love everything you give me.”

Draco beamed.

“Uncle Ron, look! That willy is riding a horse!” Freddie piped up.

“Draco. Are these chess pieces… all… erm..?”

“Of course not. That would be absurd. Look at the Queen.”

Sure enough, while the rest of the chess pieces were many different states of male, the Queen was explicitly female.

“Bit obvious what this is, yeah? This chess shaped box is rattling suspiciously like a chess set.”

“Go on, then. Open it.”

Ron tore into the wrapping, then lifted the hinge on the wooden box—

And turned scarlet...

“Happy birthday, darling.”

Draco passed the neatly and professionally wrapped gift to his husband, who gave a cheeky grin as he gave it a small shake.

“Thanks babe.” Ron pressed a kiss to Draco’s temple.

I think of it less as guidelines and more of, let’s say permission.

“Hermione… Sweetheart…” Ron whispered. “Are you asleep?” “Mmm…” Hermione mumbled, barely stirring as she turned her body to face away from the intrusion. Ron inhaled deeply. This is what she had asked him for, and although he asked if she was sure several times before they went to bed, he would be lying if he said he wasn’t incredibly turned on. He trailed his hand down her bare arm, watching as her chest rose and fell. Out like a light.

Ron reached over carefully, dipping his fingers in a small jar, coating his fingers in the oil Hermione had prepared. He shivered in anticipation as he warmed it between his fingers. Then, slowly, he pressed his fingers between his wife’s bare legs, lubricating and gently stretching her. A breathy moan escaped from her lips, but she didn’t wake. Ron reached down and slicked his painfully stiff erection before easing his hips over, and lining himself up, thrusting inside of her and quickly setting a firm rhythm. Hermione arched her back into him as she woke exactly as she had asked him to. “Mmm… Ron… yes…” “It’s after midnight.” Ron panted in her ear as he fucked her. “Happy birthday, Sweetheart.”
