I hear you. I just tend to take people, who haven’t presented themselves as MAGA/bigot l scum, at their word. Also, this guy’s a representative for their business in their interview. It’s his job in that moment to say the neutral thing: “We’ve noticed trends, but we just want to make a good game.”

To your point, a gaming company folding to incels is pretty not great. But from what I gathered, they’re not refusing to make a certain type of content because they think “woke bad”. It sounds more up the alley off they don’t want something they worked really hard on to tank because of incels.

I could be wrong, but the headline and the article was more of what Eurogamer’s shitty journalist(s) want you to get from this. At no point do they say they’d change their hiring practices. The first person to bring up DEI in the interview was the trash ass interview.
