Record Store Day has announced the list of releases for its 2025 Black Friday event, taking place on 28 November.
Among them is "Take On Me - 40th Anniversary Edition", a 12 inch EP on Ruby Red coloured vinyl.

Paul is such a perfectionist, and maybe the new songs keep coming and it's difficult to decide what to include on the album.

Magne's latest art commission opened in Oslo this week, made in collaboration with Mycela Labs.
It consists of 300 handcrafted letters made from mycelium and wood shives, which are hanging from the ceiling in a big atrium at the office building Veksthuset in Oslo.
In the latest podcast episode, "Ranking Highs and Lows" celebrates Morten Harket by ranking his 30 best vocal performances - as voted by the listeners:

Norwegian singer-songwriter Elvira Nikolaisen released her new album "(Every day I'm) Born Again" digitally this weekend.
It includes a duet with Morten Harket called "I Look to You This Time of Year". The song was briefly available on Elvira's website in 2019, but has now re-appeared on this album.
Really? That's earlier than expected.

Magne and the other owners of Brettesnes Farm had invited the local community yesterday, to celebrate the re-opening of the farm after an extensive renovation.
"It's so nice to have everyone gathered here today, and hear all their different stories", Magne told local newspaper Lofotposten (paywall).
Former a-ha bassist Jørun Bøgeberg is a special guest on the latest podcast episode of "a-ha – Ranking Highs and Lows".
Interviewed by hosts JP and Jesper, Jørun shares some of his favorite moments from his time with a-ha in the 1990s.

Last year's digital reissues of Savoy's "Reasons to Stay Indoors" (2001) and "Whalebone" (2004), will both be released on vinyl for the first time on 29 August 2025.
