Happy 'Since I Left You' day for those who celebrate.

The basic take: this album makes me so incredibly happy to listen to.
The hot take: it's not Daft Punk's best album. That would be Alive 2007.
I went over every player in the last ten HS classes to find the regions where teams can find recruiting steals. In this piece @noceilingsnba.bsky.social, I talk about why you should recruit internationally and why North Dakota State FB recruiting works.

And no, Zion wouldn't FOR SURE have gone #1 in 2018 as he wasn't even the consensus top guy in his class coming out of HS. Most recruiting services/scouts had RJ over him.

The last three guys who would've for sure gone #1 overall in the NBA Draft, had they been able to declare a year earlier.
Wiggins over Bennett in 2013.
Wembanyama over Banchero in 2020.
Flagg over anyone in 2024.

Bilal Coulibaly (France)
Washington Wizards | Age: 18
An athletic and toolsy 6'6" wing who contributes as an off-ball scorer via cuts, spot-up jumpers and straight line drives. Makes an impact on defense, guarding opposing wings as well as some guards and forwards.
More info at the link.
Victor Wembanyama (France)
San Antonio Spurs | Age: 19
Him.
Read The Map of Victor Wembanyama at Draft Digest for more.
Rayan Rupert (France)
Portland Trail Blazers | Age: 19
An athletic 6'7" wing who made an impact as a perimeter defender and showed flashes of playmaking for himself and others in his lone season in the Australian NBL, despite struggling to score efficiently.
More info at the link.
Ibou Badji (Senegal)
Portland Trail Blazers | Age: 20
One of the best rim protectors in the INTL game over the past few years, Badji landed a two-way contract with the Blazers despite not seeing playing time as a rookie. Will be a good test to see where he's at in his development.

Filip Petrusev (Serbia)
Philadelphia 76ers | Age: 23
Petrusev has taken the leap this season, becoming one of the best offensive bigs in the Euroleague. Standing at 6'11", his combination of size and floor-spacing ability could be interesting for an NBA team looking for a stretch 5.
Kai Sotto (Philippines)
Orlando Magic | Age: 21
Massive 7'3" Center who possesses tremendous mobility and coordination. Interesting bet due to his phyiscal tools despite not having a solid track record of production at high levels of competition.
Karlo Matkovic (Bosnia Herzegovina)
New Orleans Pelicans | Age: 22
A solid 6'11" big who is efficient in pick-and-roll and other catch-and-finish opportunities in the paint, while mixing some moments of mid-range shooting and ball-handling.
More info at the link.
Matteo Spagnolo (Italy)
Minnesota Timberwolves | Age: 20
One of the better draft-and-stash prospects from 2022, Spagnolo is an all-around combo guard who can add value as a secondary playmaker and shot creator.
More info at the link.
Jaylin Galloway (Australia)
Minnesota Timberwolves | Age: 20
A toolsy 6'6" Wing who is able to make plays defensively, attack the rim and shoot off the catch. Interesting 3-and-D Wing prospect with optimal tools for the position.
More info here.
Hugo Besson (France)
Milwaukee Bucks | Age: 22
An efficient perimeter shot creator who can convert difficult shots off-the-dribble with tremendous consistency. Will play his first competitive games since he underwent hip arthroscopy in early February.
More info here.
Tarik Biberovic (Bosnia Herzegovina)
Memphis Grizzlies | Age: 22
Somewhat of a surprising pick on draft night, Biberovic is a 6'7" wing with a versatile offensive game, being able to get to the rim and space the floor. Has three productive seasons of experience in the competitive Turkish BSL.
Mikael Jantunen (Finland)
Golden State Warriors | Age: 23
A 6'8" forward with dribble+shoot abilities, Jantunen has been moving up the European pro ranks ever since leaving the University of Utah after his sophomore season. An interesting bet due to his combination of size and perimeter skillset.
Amar Sylla (Senegal)
Detroit Pistons | Age: 21
A former standout at the junior levels for Real Madrid, Sylla is a versatile defender who can protect the rim and switch in the perimeter. His offensive game is slightly limited, but has shown flashes of perimeter skills through the years.
