Every social theory undergirding Trumpism has been broken on the steel of Minnesotan resolve. The multiracial community in Minneapolis was supposed to shatter. It did not. It held until Bovino was forced out of the Twin Cities with his long coat between his legs. The secret fear of the morally depraved is that virtue is actually common, and that they’re the ones who are alone. In Minnesota, all of the ideological cornerstones of MAGA have been proved false at once. Minnesotans, not the armed thugs of ICE and the Border Patrol, are brave. Minnesotans have shown that their community is socially cohesive—because of its diversity and not in spite of it. Minnesotans have found and loved one another in a world atomized by social media, where empty men have tried to fill their lonely soul with lies about their own inherent superiority. Minnesotans have preserved everything worthwhile about “Western civilization,” while armed brutes try to tear it down by force.

If ICE was, you know, carrying out their job lawfully, not ignoring court orders, not using excessive force, not arresting children, not apprehending legal citizens, not letting people die in detention, and if DHS wasn't lying / creating false narratives, people wouldn't have to "protest" them. sick

This week has been rough on us all. But revisiting an old project that I loved for a facelift has been the medicine I didn't know I needed. ♥️🐉

I just want to make it clear that it was *Border Patrol* agents who murdered Alex Pretti, and those fuckers murder people regularly here along the border.

Renee Good´s murderer is also a former Border Patrol agent (currently ICE).

Disband ALL the paramilitary groups and prosecute every member.

When we conflate complex trauma and dissociative disorders with patterns of exploitation, we cast a shadow over a large community of humans who navigate these conditions with integrity every day.

When the actions are already loud, they don't need a diagnosis too.✌️

Observing a conversation re: mental health and want to get 2 things off my chest in the spirit of broader advocacy.

1.) A mental health disorder does not shield a person from accountability.

2.) A mental health disorder does not put people in the same category as abusers. Actions do that.

Without human creators GenAI would have nothing to steal.

If you love GenAI, I challenge you to make your arguments without them relying on another human having to be broken. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but no one has to tolerate cult speak and dehumanization aimed at them.

Whether the services being sold are AI or human-made, they still have to be sold to other humans. Devaluing entire industry pockets of humans to falsify one's own value is not only ethically dubious, it's anti-competitive.

All reasonable arguments from creators are instantly reduced to one of these flaws. But guess what? Executing anything well still takes a village. Burning the village doesn't make you more valuable. It just makes you the asshole.

Why am I tired of LinkedIn AI bros?

It actually has nothing to do with AI. It has to do with how humans treat humans. Most of the arguments I see that are pro GenAI RELY on human creators like me to be:

-inflexible

-outdated

-"whiny"

-fundamentally broken

I’m sorry but I’m just super fed up with GenAI video bros on LinkedIn. Like, if you find yourself constantly on the defensive with CG artists, maybe look at the quality of your argument. PSA: If you’re posting daily on LI like a desperate AI clout junkie & not actually working 💵, what does that say?
