She who presides over all things life and all things natural. The Wildmother's presence in the country has been a chaste and hermetic one, vying nothing of mainstream worship. It was due to the mentality that life should set its own course that Melora went three decades uninitiated into the country's primary pantheon. Should the people want her, she would say, they would seek her. In this setting, faith has fractured; many of the greater powers cast out by a cataclysmic event. Perhaps it is due to this humble nature that the Wildmother was spared of this. However, the fact remained; the people were in need. With the pantheon fragmented and the forces of man scrabbling as hard as possible to keep what remained, it was only natural that something should seek to seize this period of vulnerability. An outlier, coveting godhood, encroaches on the pantheon. On the country. By will of the people and errand of a few souls brave and bold enough to search for Melora, have brought her into the fold against this threat.

Pantheon Post! While I work on larger post projects, I can release this! Behold, Melora the Wildmother. The party has had a lot of contact and influence from her sprinkled here and there, but finally they met and completed her divine assignment.

Amazing!

Nobody asked for it, but I want to post art of my homebrew monsters. Only I don't feel right doing so without trying to make their presentation fancier. So that's why I suddenly stopped posting.

Presiding over a small, hermetic community of tribesmen known as the Northfolk, Kord's presence has gone by the wayside in the current setting. As a god of strength, of bravery and self-improvement however --his power wants for nothing. The Storm Lord is the patron deity of warriors, athletes and of those who slay wicked dragons. Owing to this is the story of a climactic battle wherein Kord stood in for Bahamut, weakened by Lolth's venom --as the Queen of Spiders had sided with Tiamat, the Scaled Tyrant. While Bahamut recovered, he granted Kord the boon of one of his Platinum scales, worn proudly on Kord's left hand forever after. With their power combined, Kord single-handedly banished Lolth and challenged Tiamat to a competition of Strength. In his domain, Tiamat could only lose such a battle. Kord ripped four of her five heads from the body of her avatar, and mortally wounded the fifth and final. Forcing the Dragon Queen to escape. On that day Kord boasted his victory by keeping the ragged remnants of Tiamat, wearing her scales as trophies.

Pantheon Post! The second god the party met face-to-face, Kord the Storm Lord! Easily my second-favorite of D&D gods, and I had so much fun making my version of him!

Also known as the Mother of Ravens, the Matron of Fate and Keeper of Aspect. As a god of death, the only one the country has to turn to, one may get the impression that she is to be feared --but even though the Raven Queen is a being of stern strategy, she is also one of perpetual mourning. She is there for those who remain, she watches over those who cross, and inflicts harsh reprimand for any who would infringe on the sanctity of life. The domain she keeps is cold, and it is dark. But then again, is the cold not welcomed to soothe an injury? Do we not turn to the dark to find rest? This is the Raven Queen. Above all, she is comfort.

Time to showcase the pantheon a bit! Behold, the Raven Queen, a goddess I'm mildly obsessed with. She is the party cleric's deity, and a pivotal character in the overarching story.

From her Palace of Memories, she presides over the final fate.

Draped head to toe in layers of gold, encrusted with precious stones, and wearing a smirk as trademark as his molten crown; Jackal is one bad habit in nice shoes. Having sustained a grave injury at the hands of those he betrayed, Jackal escaped and sealed the wound with gold (kintsugi), he would go on to establish the Golden Clutch crime syndicate --members of whom would be similarly marred as a show of loyalty. A habitual gambler, Jackal's goal to give the world to his patron was overtaken by his fixation on the party --something about their interferences excited him, made him obsess over "his story", of which he zealously proclaimed to be the hero. Ultimately, this would be his gilded downfall.

Time for villains! This is Jackal, the late leader of the Golden Clutch. He was the party's first dedicated bad guy, with his deep pockets, zealous cronies and otherworldly patron of greed.

Though he is defeated by now, he'll always be a fave.

I really love the rendering on this, the gradient alone makes the color palette feel very fun and diverse

This is the final battle with the Cult of Rakdos, in their Fortress of Fun. Masses massacred, the stench of decay, cackling jesters and fountains of gore awaited the party --yet they prevailed.

This was the penultimate chamber at the bottom of the Elocated Sepulcher, where it connected to the Drifting Veil (afterlife). Here, the party fought a master Necromancer and his undying servants, in a bid to save the country from the thousands upon thousands of undead he would otherwise gain from the tomb.

Today I figured I'd share some of the maps from my campaign! These could not have been possible without 2-Minute Tabletop, whose assets I've ripped, snipped and recolored in various ways over the years to elevate my D&D experience!
