In general, it’s very hard and disappointing being a left-leaning Israeli nowadays. For example, you report this, but not a 250k (which would be ~7.5mil adjusted to US population size) demonstration to end the war and return the hostages in TLV.
It feels as if the international left wants Israelis

Having said that, if he wasn’t currently involved with Hamas he should not have been killed.
There have been UNRWA workers that were part of he Hamas attack, and the same hospital he was reporting next was also a Hamas command center which was used to hide hostages
As an Israeli, I’m quite conflicted over this. This piece ignores it, but Anas was a member of Nuhba battalions- the ones that massacred and kidnapped innocent festival goers at least until 2023, when he was discharged on medical grounds. Meaning, he probably trained at kidnapping and killing -
