The future, now in the past, Concorde, the British/ French designed supersonic passenger airliner, that flew between London Heathrow and New York JFK in 3 hours at Mach 2.04. It was retired by British Airways in 2003. It’s forever a pinnacle of man made flight history. Sad. ✈️

Eurostar Class 373 and 374 and a South Eastern Javelin Class 395 filmed in Kent, UK Sept 2025 on HS1 (High Speed One line). Eurostar top cruising speed in UK is 186mph and domestic Javelins 140mph. Eurostar slows to 100 mph for Channel Tunnel undersea crossing. #UKtrains 🚄

Thanks to our amazing Eurostar high speed line and Channel Tunnel, London 🇬🇧 is connected directly by rail to Paris 🇫🇷 and Brussels 🇧🇪 and it’s simple to change at either city for onward trains to almost anywhere in Europe. 🚄💙🇪🇺
