Man. If I was skinny and not afraid of heights or death, I would take up hang gliding. I went on this hang glider ride at the fair once and it changed my life honestly. I never felt so at peace in the air. I really could have fallen asleep up there. I want that feeling again.

Turns out the hang glider I made out of an old tent was not airworthy and I’d like to apologize to the Scout troop for making them watch their leader scrape down the side of a cliff. They make new faces all the time, and maybe sewing it back on could earn you a badge.

This is a paper airplane I made last year to mimic the similarities of a hang glider. It used paper, straws, and paper clips. It utilized a Powerup 4.0 unit, which is controlled by Bluetooth.

Sharing a calming shot of the ocean. More of a reminder to me to take deep breaths & keep on going.

A monochrome photograph showing a hang-glider having just taken off from the hillside on which the famous Westbury White Horse is located. Originally cut into the hillside in the late 1700s, this feature is regularly cleaned to retain the distinctive shape. The horse is 180 ft (55 m) tall and 170 ft (52 m) wide and has been adopted as a symbol for the town of Westbury

Built this hang-glider more than 50 years ago, from a plan I found in a newsletter called Low and Slow, that recommended to never fly higher than you want to fall. That's my 55 year old daughter with me. Mom helped by sewing the fabric for me!

A photograph from the splash page of the Foundation for Free Flight showing a sand dune and cloudy sky. A set of colorful plastic tubes is laid out on the sand in concentric circles, forming a bullseye. As another person looks on, a hang gliding pilot under a red wing is coming in for a landing, presumably to try to hit the bullseye.
