Is this one of those games where the screen surround (the bike handlebars) is left there from the loading screen, so only exists in VRAM, and not stored in the game anywhere as data? Means it has to stay on screen all the time as it can’t be redrawn.

This wasn’t on my radar at all after it was first shown, as I’m usually a bit disappointed by anything Pokémon related. Then someone pointed out it was by the DQB2 studio and I was suddenly all in for the DQB3 I thought we were never going to get.

Similar for me with Facebook, but it happened much faster. I removed it from my phone as I noticed myself just scrolling on it all the time, intending to just catch up once a day on desktop. Once I didn’t have it on my phone I lost the urge to browse it on desktop in the space of about a week.
