Some of our donated pumpkins are more like pumpcicles right now because of the freezing weather, but Kermit is undeterred! Even if he's only getting small icy nibbles, it's still a good enrichment challenge for him to chase his frozen pumpkin around.

Everyone left with a small token of our appreciation. There are really no words of gifts that can express just how grateful we are for our volunteers. They truly keep us going! 💫

We had the most beautiful volunteer appreciation party today to thank the most amazing group of humans we know! It was a day full of great food and fellowship. 🥰

Today is #internationalvolunteerday and we honestly don’t know where we’d be without our community of amazing, dedicated, loyal, hardworking volunteers. We are so lucky and grateful to have such an incredible team! 🥹

Out of all our residents the highland cows are most suited for winter. They have a protected paddock with shield from the wind but on most days they just shrug off the cold and snow! ❄️

It's coat season! 🧥 We're officially in the part of the year when many of our residents need to be bundled up to protect them from the cold. It's important for everyone to be cozy, but many of our residents are seniors and/or have chronic health issues that make them more susceptible to hypothermia.

We had a big snow yesterday! It was a lot for our buildings and grounds hero Derek to manage but fortunately Peewee, Bert, and Ernie were on hand to supervise.
