Agree. New to protesting? Welcome! Done this a dozen times? Welcome! Done this a million times and also train ppl in resisting fascism? Welcome! Elected officials? Welcome! Driving by and honk in support? Welcome! We can’t beg people to turn out and then say to them, no, not like that.

A few things come to mind: Builds cross-generational community, builds hope, answers the call from some Black women that white women need to show up en masse at protests, demonstrates that a lot of Americans don’t support Trump. Also: “Not like that” dampens hope and possibly voter turn-out.

This! It took me a few increasingly frustrating tries to realize that LLM wasn’t generating a cool city map with all my areas of interest marked because LLM couldn’t do it. LLM said it could, and it asked all the right questions, but it can’t do it.
