Thinking these hives that show up when my stomach goes sideways are further evidence that maybe I’ve got MCAS to go with my POTS and hEDS but I’ll never know bc there’s two allergists in the whole state with 18+ month waitlists and one of them is terrible at their job πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

I dunno but I remember doing it as a kid ALL THE TIME when it came to dancing at parties/weddings. I *loved* it but it always took me ages to get up the gumption to DO it.

*crouching down to hook the leash to my harnessed cat*

Ugh, WHAT is stabbing me? That hurts!

*looks*

Of course. It's the tag on my pants. Why do I have to be a cliche?

But I can't even get myself to take ONE. The Prozac I worry more about digestive side effects. I've spent my whole life with a terrible digestive system. The Nurtec? Worried about being deadly allergic to it. For literally no reason. I have no cause to think I'd be allergic. Sigh.

How does one with medication anxiety start taking medication FOR the anxiety? I've got the meds (and for my migraines) but hell if I can get myself to take them. I have trouble even taking things I've taken before with zero issues. The Nurtec and the Prozac have the potential to change my life...

I am barefoot all spring and summer long and into the fall. At every chance I can be. The one exception? Collecting the fall raspberries. There are *so many* pollinators with stingers around those bush. I am SO glad to have them. I just do not want to step on one barefoot. #gardening #backyard

About 25% in now. It’s been *a minute* since I’ve actually been creeped out by a horror book. I’ve been reading adult horror since I was 9 years old and I’m 40 now. This has been fantastic.

Medicaid cuts won't be felt until after 2026 midterms, Republican says
Republican Representative Mike Flood, who sat through stormy town hall meetings in his home Nebraska district as Republicans were putting the bill together, predicted that voters in 2026 will experience economic and job growth as a result of the legislation.
He also said the effects of Medicaid changes will not be felt until after the election.
"There's ton of fear mongering that has gone on.
Every emotional lever you can pull to scare people, some of our most vulnerable, has been done. And by the time we're ready for the '26 elections, there's going to be a choice between pro-growth, pro-job, Republicans and Democrats like the recent nominee for New York City that wants government run grocery stores, that's going to be the choice," Flood said.

They’re doing what they always do - setting a bomb to go off when they assume Dems will be back in control so they can blame all of the carnage on the left. And it’s been working for decades.

That's what happens here year round except it's a Carolina Wren and you'd never imagine such a tiny little thing could make SO MUCH noise. Much like a rooster it lets us know, right outside my bedroom window, when the first rays of light appear.
