No mother should have to watch her baby taken from her so that someone else can drink her milk.

Ditch dairy.

The best way to truly make this a happy National Pig day is to stop funding the industries that cause them so much pain and suffering. The largest abuser of pigs in the United States claims they raise pigs responsibly. But the only thing they are RESPONSIBLE for is immense suffering.

We have fences specifically to keep these hooligans out!!!

I can handle the weight of her head and dodging her horns, but when Jenna sneaks a kiss… that’s where I get distracted. Love this kid so much!!

Veal is a by-product of the dairy industry.

Many people hate the thought of veal because it means eating a baby calf who was treated awfully.

But they don’t realize the only reason veal exists is because farmers on dairy farms don’t need male cows who can’t produce milk.

We are currently dealing with a little emergency medical situation with Tia, who doesn’t seem to be able to keep herself out of fights. But the good news is Huckleberry is here to help so all should be well.

Tell us you want out of the barn without telling us you want out of the barn. Piper, Huckleberry, Bonnie, and Annie have had enough of the cold warnings and being stuck in the barn. They are glad warmer days are coming this week ♥️

Cows love hugs, Jenna demonstrates this every day. But did you know that many turkeys love hugs too? Charlie can’t resist seeking out hugs with her humans and Jenna is very accommodating (and uncharacteristically willing to share) though she demand she be able to give her a kiss.

It’s Unanimous-ish! Winter needs to end. Jenna is leading the charge in this.

A little veganism never hurt anybody. But a lot is far preferable! Do it for the animals and nobody gets hurt! They are depending on you!!

Fun Fact Friday: Chicken Facts

Charlotte use to go everywhere with me. And I figured out that the best way to hide a pig for sneaking her into places was to dress her up like a pig. Who would ever expect that? And the answer was almost no one. And the number of times people asked to see my 'baby' and then got a surprise...

Huckleberry is not very patient when he would like to be loved. And why should he be. When you are that adorable, you shouldn't have to wait for anything. He is definitely the most loved little 'donkey'.

Annie is so sweet with her buddy Huckleberry. Everyone is so happy to finally be out of the barn now that the ice has mostly melted.
