🔎Therefore, this basin is a small example of the diversity of the entire Iberia Peninsula, and it could be used to understand the complex theropod paleodiversity of the latter.

🦖Moreover, dental material from Baryonychinae (Spinosauridae) and other early-branching tetanurans was described. The results demonstrate that the fossil assemblages in both regions of the Cameros Basin (eastern and western) are similar and include members of several theropod groups.

‼️More spinosaurid material in the Iberian Peninsula!! But what's special about this discovery? 

🌍The material is from Soria (Spain) and, specifically, from the Western Cameros sub-basin, geologically. And, so far, theropods have mostly been found in the eastern part of the sub-basin.

Another campaign in the #Jurassic of #Patagonia 🇦🇷. Prospecting the Cañadón Calcareo Fm. with members of Rauhut's lab and the Museo Egidio Feruglio (MEF-Patagonia). Difficult formation but amazing landscapes, as always! 🦕🧉

The findings also indicate that fieldwork logistics rarely accommodate menstrual health needs, and respondents found difficulties in communication about menstrual issues. We should address these gaps to create a more inclusive environment for researchers.

📝 New paper published!

Gamboa et al. examine the impact of menstruation on fieldwork in natural sciences disciplines. The survey revealed that 86% of respondents experienced menstruation, with nearly half (48%) reporting significant menstrual pain while working.
