Oops I have looked at very little about the game and was just going off something I read on reddit. Oh well!

The story here is surprisingly VERY good. Probably the best "plot" since the ps2 games. I played it primarily as a vn and only engaged with the gameplay as much as I had to, but uh. Resleriana being a gacha game doesn't benefit it AT ALL. I'm glad that good writing can carry me through a bad game.

I think Polar Night Liberator is technically 23 chapters, but I stopped after 22 since that's where the "final boss" happens and ch23 starts with a timeskip. RW happens in between the timeskip, so I'll pick it back up once I've played that. Hopefully the harder difficulty comes out fast.

3d visuals do have their own strengths, but Falcom really hasn't been utilizing them until recently. I've been missing the early 2000s visuals for years. Now though? They're killing it, even if I do miss stuff like this.

This also happens in this same game during the prologue, you can find Josette in the church, but she's nameless and missing her portrait until you run into her at the mayors. Stuff like that is so cool and kinda can't be replicated in 3d.
