In 1987, disk drives had just cracked $10/MB, and DRAM was about $500/MB (about $28 and $1400 today).
In the past few weeks, I bought drives that were 1,800,000 times cheaper, and DRAM that was about 6,400,000 times cheaper.
The mind boggles.
