And soon AUNZ qualifiers were open, this is where our biggest moment was as we took a set against Orcas players and were so close to taking down Mantablack as well. This wouldn't be our only big result as we soon won Tristrike Tuesday after a brief break for the holidays

With the name settled we gained our first few members and began working from there. It took us a while to get accustomed with how we all played but as time went on we learnt better and improved.

Fruitea was founded on 22/6/24 before this team was created the name was brainstormed by our captains Wilds and Canary after Wilds had struggled to come up with a name that both were happy with

- so with more staff I'll be able to host Grass Roots more often so I hope any new faces in the OCE scene who are wanting to dip their toes into comp and make some new friends are able to join Grass Roots and keep the OCE scene fresh and alive!

As for what I plan to do in the future, that I'm not sure of myself. What I do know is that I want to start streaming more and do a little soul searching before I step back into comp fully as a captain. I recently opened staff applications for Grass Roots-

Hi hii everyone~ I'm now the former captain of Fruitea and what a journey it was. From a small team working hard and making the most of what we had to a team that showcased how unique every single one of our flavours to everyone.

yo its me, the bird or smthin, idk what you guys call me at this point lmao i dont know how to make these kinda posts but wilds has a gun to my head so here we are i had a lot of fun building up fruitea w wilds! it was really cool to meet and play w everyone

the team was around. without those two im not sure where i would be rn lol. what next is the big question. i’m going to be focusing on competitive in my free time i have. i am still a child and i have school and stuff but i will aim to reach high level as soon as i can.

3 of our members on Fruitea participated in SOS with Jelly and Plus today and managed to get top 8 in Great White! We managed to take a lot of good games even against a +2 team! Good games to all teams today!
