After saying that troops from NATO countries did little to help in Afghanistan he now wants our help. Well I got one say piss off, you can manage on your own.

From this crowd 'no new wars" means "no new wars not started by Trump"!!! If they thought they could make more money from Ukraine than from Russia Ukraine would have all the support & arms they need. But Trump is in love with Putin, either that or Putin has the means to really drop him in the mire!

He's got weird views & opinions, like all politicians of his ilk. Unfortunately, as in most other cases, they usually lead to deaths, often as in this case on a large scale.

Very true. I saw much the same comment when Trump previously attacked Iran. A big waste especially as Trump failed the first time.

Wars often last longer than predicted. In 1914 men rushed to enlist because "the war would be over by Christmas"! The only wars, against a prepared enemy, that run to plan are those which are well planned & don't underestimate the enemy Russia under estimated Ukraine so has Iran been underestimated?

The amount of pollution caused by this war is tremendous. Who caused it? Not Ukraine which has been forced to defend itself by whatever means it can. But by Putin, ineptly aided by Trump who dithered, did nothing to end this war & even started his own war.

Judging by this particular video the USA needs all the help it can get to deal with drones. I expect that Ukraine would be willing to give it in exchange for arms & equipment from the USA! Personally I'd make Trump beg but then I freely admit I just don't like Trump.

Another winter of the suffering of the Ukrainian people due to the genocidal actions of Putin will soon be over. The work of restoring light & heat will soon proceed at a faster rate. I hope & 🙏 that by next winter Ukraine will have all the air defenses needed to stop a repeat of this winter.

This is another case of the kettle calling the pot black. Putin/Russia did exactly this when Crimea was invaded in 2014 & again in 2022 with the full invasion of Ukraine. I could go further back & mention the invasion of Georgia 2008 or Putin's failed intervention in the Syrian Civil War.

In Trump speak "No new wars" means "No new wars not started by Trump.

I didn't have a say in his election but from 3000 miles away it seems totally daft to put him in power, let alone to do it twice. Unfortunately those of us who don't have a say in this are affected by the results. His attitude to Iran's nuclear weapons may explain his attitude to Putin's aggression.

How stupid! The USA already has the ability to install all the defense infrastructure it needs on Greenland, as part of NATO. The USA had many bases on the island but closed all but one at the end of the Cold War. What Trump really wants is access to Greenland's mineral wealth to strip it bare!

I've just watched Trump announce his attack on Iran, giving a long rambling list of reasons why. Then he basically told the Iranian people, who recently died in their thousands in protests against the govt, to seize power. All while wearing a white USA baseball cap, his symbolic "good guy" hat.

So according to the govt of the USA it's OK for Russia to attack US owned property in Ukraine but it's wrong for Ukraine to attack US owned property in Russia. This is typical of Trump's perverse anti Ukraine views, it seems very stupid to back an aggressor who isn't winning but is probably losing!

Give Putin an inch & he'll take a mile. If Ukraine gives in to these demands it will inevitably lead to Russia trying to take over the rest of the country as soon as its forces have been built up again. The whole of Europe must support Ukraine to prevent this, regardless of Trump's stupidity.

This is all rather perverse & probably indicates Trump's love of Putin but also his dislike, perhaps even hatred, of Zelensky! Trump hasn't learned that personal likes & dislikes have no place in international, diplomatic negotiations!

The present Hungarian govt in demanding that Ukraine repairs a pipeline damaged by Russia seems they're not just interested in keeping access to cheap Russian oil & gas but are supporting Putin. Ukraine, against its own best interest has offered an alternative route that Orban refused shows this.

Somehow I can't see this happening, the UK govt wouldn't get the parliamentary support it needs from its own party. As for the opposition they would probably vote against the govt, hoping to force an election.

Four years ago today Putin sent in troops for an invasion that was planned to last days. Now it still rages with no end in sight other than Russian defeat. Putin must be desperate if the talk of a new mass mobilization is true, this could well finish him politically & will only supply cannon fodder

This is what I don't understand, why did countries that now enjoy freedom elect leaders that are pro-Russian? After experience of brutal Russian invasion, domination & occupation the logical reaction is to oppose them rather than kowtow as the likes of Orban is doing. This just seems daft to me.

This doesn't do the environment much good but the Russian economy must be destroyed & its forces must be denied fuel! Unfortunately this is the only way.

But they would win much quicker if they were properly armed!

Until Ukraine gets ALL the hardware it needs to really beat these attacks they will go on! Trump needs to drop Putin & arm Ukraine! Most of Europe is doing what it can but it has become too dependent on the USA for arms itself & Trump isn't selling the arms for Ukraine cheaply!

Good news but this is a drop in the ocean compared to what remains to be destroyed before Putin is destroyed. Losing to Ukraine will destroy Putin politically & quite possibly physically, which is why he won't back down!

Trump & Putin are bullies cast from nearly identical molds, while Orban is not dissimilar just less powerful. They are all bullies struggling to get their own way. Hopefully all three will be denied this.

The talks never stood a chance of producing anything as Russians refuse to negotiate, only to make the same unjustified demands. As for Ukraine's long-range attacks these are a justified attempt to stop Russia's attacks on Ukraine & are to be expected.

One good thing, he was the 1st UK PM to send military aid to Ukraine following the invasion of 24/02/2022. Then he sent the first & arguably the best tanks there. Other than this I don't have a good word to say about him. He should though be investigated over his relationship with Epstein & Russia.

Air attacks like this are just one of the many war crimes committed by Russia. I've just realised that in three months & 17 days Putin's all-out war on Ukraine will have lasted longer than the WWI. That's 3 months & 17 more days of crimes like this.

Putin's indifference to human life & suffering show his KGB training. His use of lies & distortion are also KGB traits which show his indoctrination. I wonder how many like him there are in Russia?

Zelenski has effectively said that Putin has no intention of negotiating, his use of historical "s**t" to support his (false) claims shows this. Real history isn't "s**t" but Putin's "false history" is, it's a deliberate distortion of facts to support Putin's warped theories!
