2XKO is pretty cool, finally starting to get the hang of it. I'm still surprised by how stubby lights and mediums feel, but combos feel great.

I didn't find it as bad as something like Krushing Blows in MK11, but the tendency to introduce cinematic moments for mass appeal is generally annoying yeah.

Seeing that its baked into the match flow for unlocking teammates I'm surprised they made them even longer than Strives.

Sometimes we’re unsatisfied with a thing we made because when it only existed in our head, we saw all the things it could have been and when it’s done we know all the things that it isn’t, but we can’t see the way it expands into a million new things when someone else unpacks it in their head. 🖊️🦑

to get a little personal, one of the reasons i'm glad i'm no longer in the games industry is that i found it difficult to not take statements like "the dev team doesn't care" or "they clearly actually hate this game" personally
