Why is this the correct action?
If they are sure enough that he was doing bad things with children, then why is he being allowed to walk free?
@yamrk.bsky.social
I’m not here to represent your side, I don’t deal in absolutes and have been known to change my views when sound arguments are presented.
Why is this the correct action?
If they are sure enough that he was doing bad things with children, then why is he being allowed to walk free?
No. Democrats and Republicans should both be.
And no, I’m not referring to the republicans in congress that gave up their appointment to appease Trump, I mean the people.
Many republicans do hate jack-boot thug types. Not all of us subscribe to today’s party.
Nope, I’m saying you are incorrectly applying your preferred definition to a broad colloquial term.
Like I said, I’m done. Later.
Correct.
I didn’t bring up the federal government’s legal definition and that has no basis for correctness on my point.
I said if someone has legal authorization to enter, then I consider them here legally. If they do not, then they are here illegally.
That’s what people mean when they say “illegal”.
I’m not sure what you’re trying to prove by redefining the colloquial meaning, but it’s intellectually dishonest.
If an asylum seeker had legal authorization to enter, why would I consider them to be illegally here?
29.10.2025 16:08 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Why would I assign a negative connotation to someone here legally?
I wouldn’t. No problem with asylum seekers, or anyone else that was legally authorized for entry.
It was legal, that’s the point.
I also have no personal problem with illegal immigrants as people, I would do the same as them.
“It’s still a non immigrant visa” - what’s the point? I’m saying it’s part of a legal immigration process that’s used all the time.
If you did not have legal paperwork to enter, you are here illegally. That’s simple and true.
“Undocumented” is word play intended to remove the negative connotation.
I guess that makes sense.
To be honest, if we’re doing tariffs, which are not horrible or great, you have to apply them with thoughtful intent.
Food was fine. Manufacturing should have been the sole aim, and then, target specific industries via tariffs and incentives.
Why Brazil, specifically? How about our friends in Canada?
29.10.2025 14:36 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0H‑1B is one of the few nonimmigrant visas that allows dual intent. People on H‑1Bs normally immigrate permanently and get a green card while still holding H‑1B.
The “undocumented” term is manipulative, and it will change again because the negative reason isn’t resolved. Say no to mind-games.
An illegal immigrant (‘undocumented’ is disingenuous) goes through a shit ton less work than someone who goes through the whole H1B process.
It’s insane. I’ve had friends live here, legally, for many years, and have had to leave after their sponsor company had fiscal issues and they got laid off.
No, but being the insane PC cop isn’t welcome, either.
29.10.2025 03:10 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0It’s very disheartening being caught between two extremes.
29.10.2025 03:06 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0A lot of immigrants I know are very against illegal immigration.
If you’re playing by the rules, waiting and waiting, but following the law, and then see someone bypass it, it’s a real slap in the face.
The fascist bit, which I do accept when discussing Trump, doesn’t have anything to do with healthcare.
Universal Healthcare and a fascist government can exist.
I mention it because while I hate Trump, I also dislike socialism and the whole single-payer concept.
I want competition, not control.
Every day, the choice is coming closer: you either fight for our liberty, or you accept a failed democracy and all that entails…which most have never experienced.
For our families, and future generations, I urge you to prepare to fight.
Extinguish every single other option first, but prep, now.
Does it help?
At this point, we need Americans loyal to the constitution to stay. Quitting means filling the position with someone worse.
Tell me, what happens when every person in the DOJ is brainwashed?
Bad things will happen faster. Keep your enemies close.
That’s the intent. Keep ramping up incursions, at some point people will fight back, and by that time there will be enough of a private army they’ll start arresting thousands.
That’s why it needs hundreds of thousands.
Be honest, there is an element of truth, that's where perspective matters.
Example: funding for emergency care, and other limited aid, is provided to unlawful residents. That is fact.
The question should be: do we, us here, agree to aid someone having a heart attack, regardless?
I think yes. You?
I’m seeing a lot of provocations by the protestors as well. You will never lead change if you’re already part of the problem.
I’m no fan of jack-boot thugs either, but FFS, you’re not going to attract the masses and make change with what you all are doing.
Peaceful works, this provides excuse.
Sorry, but I kind of snorted when I heard “land use violation”.
21.09.2025 05:43 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I see no place for this in our colleges and prefer colleges participating in discriminatory actions to have tax funding and tax shelters revoked.
In the same way the KKK may exist, so can these colleges, but we collectively should recognize the racism and sexism institutionalized on these campuses.
I’ll watch any movie with a submarine.
I may hate it, but I’ll probably watch it a second time.
We’re very different and adolescent in how disputes are managed. Regardless, the trends are good and parallel the drops we see in other countries.
The reality it’s a moot point and people can beat this drum all they wish, but Americans aren’t giving up firearms without a fight.
I went to make a donation and realized what steered me away- the didn’t support an intermediate payment service I use, and would need to provide my credit card numbers, which I try to avoid.
I can use a low use card though and monitor for leaks of my data and go that route.
Do you believe they’re effective with the donated funds? They looked bigger, and I was concerned there may be unnecessary expenses.
I will take a closer look, thanks.
I can do more- in your opinion what is the best cause to donate to?
I would prefer to support the men on the front and not generalized donations to Ukraine, and have been following “The Officer” on telegram and he seems legit, but it’s hard for me to verify.
Suggestions?
We’ll see eye to eye once you stop persecuting and spreading hatred and racism on those that don’t fit your model society.
And yes, you haven’t made a logical point yet that justifies your usage of force against citizens, so yes, dismissed.
Good day to you as well.
That’s my point: the tool used to is not relevant. Shifting from A -> B tool is not relevant, but presenting it this way leads to a bias that firearms are THE issue…but it’s an inanimate object.
What matters is homicides, irregardless of cause, and the US is trending down like every other country.
