Someone asked about Aldi selling yarn. In UK, they have it as a special 2 or 3 times a year. Here’s some I bought last month. It’s ok for hobbyists. I wouldn’t make a sweater out of it personally, but I might add it to some better quality yarn in a throw or toddler item. 🧶 #knit

Someone asked to see the reverse of the honeycomb blanket. This is front and back. There are no yarn carries. One row, one colour. It uses slip stitches to form the pattern.

No worries! On the honeycomb, there is no yarn carry - you only use one yarn on each row. It’s really, really easy

I’m liking it. Finding it a bit finer than normal Aran weight yarn though.

Rowan produce an Xmas KAL most years. I love that in all the patterns, you can swap the individual squares around to make a bespoke throw once you’ve collected a few patterns
