Difficult job but recruitment hasn’t been great. The ones we have kept are not starters and the ‘gems’ have been sold quickly for little profit. Club needs a refresh and Monchi touting every player over the summer has upset the team, this move may remove some of the unrest. Next appointment huge

Mings & Maatsen or Pau and Digne are the combinations that work best. Definitely feels like there are issues on and off the pitch atm. Win desperately needed

Tbf, seems to be more hopefully long balls than directed passes atm. My dog wouldn’t chase some of the balls our forwards are being fed

Just read a stat on the other site that Rogers is losing the ball over 17 times a game this season. This drop off is having a bigger effect than Baileys drop of last year. Lack of quality passes from the back (and missing Tielemans) also not helping

Be interesting to see the starting 11 when everyone is fit. May be a while until we see that though

Paus passing allows bigger spaces between CBs and midfield and gets the midfielders closer to the strikers. He also picks out the runs from the strikers, encouraging them to make more runs

The injuries to our midfielders haven’t helped. Yuri, Onana and Barkley would have all suited today’s game. My main issues this season have been the starting team selections and persisting with players who have been poor. Rogers needs a spell on the bench and we desperately need width and pace

Missing the passing of Tielemans and Pau. Watkins needs wide players that draw the CBs out and get to the byline. Ours run towards him closing down his space. Need Sancho and Maatsen on the left and to give Rogers a rest

Agree about the left side and Rogers. Making these changes would suit Watkins more too
