I am rather conflicted between supporting authoritarianism and its supporters or cutting myself off from social media during the reign of an authoritarian, both of which are bad for my mental state.

I didn't use to think so either. But between this and everything else going on, I just don't see it. I have hope for the world, bu I'm kind of done. Not with trying to fix the world but with trying to fix me. Hope is not worth the effort and disappointment anymore.
