Monday update:
I hate kidneys, why do I even need them anyway, this pain is ridiculous, I would like to file a complaint

Bright side:
Not as painful as blood pocket pressing down on nerve while fracture presses up on same place, so not as painful as end of January/most of February

But fuuuuck off

An Eevee Pokemon squishmallow sits between the pillows and my mom's bedside stand~

I bought myself a Pity Present while picking up all 3 of my prescriptions at Walgreens (2 from today, 1 that I called and had them refill a few days early since I was already going to be there)

Friday I was so ill that at one point I validly worried what would happen to my mom's animals if I landed in the hospital or just died.

Went to urgent care today-
May's Ashley Catastrophe is a nice kidney infection!

A Boston terrier has crashed on a blue blanket. Her face is smooshed into it and she's sleeping hard.

Many overturned yard decorations can be seen in the photo, also blurry, overturned because of the chicken tornado that happens when they get out of their enclosure for the day.

A small raccoon tries to climb a white window frame, on a wall of windows. He's gotten stuck in the courtyard at the library and the security guard isn't pictured but was trying to catch him. He did not succeed, lol. A bunch of greenery surrounds him and is reflected in the windows.

Mooncat, Mermaid Bait. I managed to catch the beautiful green shade as I was stopped at a red light.

A selfie- there's the ceiling above me, dominated by a light. A bit of my desk is in view. The top of my head looks down from the top of the photo.

A turkey "hides" behind a blue board holding up the handrail to my mom's stairs. Almost all of him is visible except his actual face. You can see various yard decorations around, too.

A dirt driveway with a bit of gravel has a big dirt hole in it- dug by a dog years ago. A grey chicken is literally rolling in it in the photo-- she's kicked up a cloud of dust and having a blast, enjoying sunshine and sun bathing.

A photo of a wood fired pizza- an edge is scorched, but it was delicious. The cheese is melted beautifully and the pizza is covered in jalapeno, black olives, and mushrooms. It's from Roan Mountain Bakers in TN. At least I think that's the place's name. There aren't a lot of places there, so.

A photo of my large peony plant. She's bushy and leafy and perfect. Her flowers are bright pink, pale pink, coral, and white- a natural progression she goes through with each flower. Behind her stands a faded metal flamingo, beside her a bunch of white wildflowers, and everything is green and wild around her.

Usually I try and forget by like week two.

A turkey, chunky and big, hiding behind a board that holds up the hand railing on my mom's stairs to her porch. He's barely, barely out of sight- just his face is hidden. He's the worst.

Turkey took the opportunity to sneak up all stealth like and try to have relations with my shoes.

He was very irritated when it didn't work out for him.

Nap was ended by all of my mom's chickens deciding to stand in the driveway & scream angrily at a neighbor, across two yards & a second driveway...

Bc said neighbor had the audacity to use!?

In the middle of the day?!

Chickens were having NONE of that.

Earlier today I laid down to watch tv and sip a yummy alcoholic beverage.
About an hour later, I was woken up from one of the deepest sleeps I've had in a while~

Body really just went "nope, no tv and no drink, just catch up on sleep"

The tiniest bit of the top of my face is visible, wearing giant headphones. Mostly, the photo focuses on the ceiling at work and a bright light, with a big portion of the top shelf of my desk at work.

In fairness, I took this photo today but it's not in my camera roll (until I just now went looking for it and saved it) because I took it in Messenger.

i painted my toes w/ cruel mirage, but only one layer AND over serpents of eden, so it's hard to see any shift to it- it may be my next go on the hands so that i can play w/ that aspect~!

the base coat and top coat seem to be doing beautifully and im real glad i gave in and grabbed them~

im really glad i started w/ that one because it has brought me so much joy~!

the others i got are:
-"prickly pear", which is a shade of green with some big opal-y flakes in it (shocking, i know, that i would choose a green polish)
-"cruel mirage", which is black w/ almost rainbow shifts to it?

This one is "Mermaid Bait" and I'm FASCINATED by the color shifts- there are three distinct shifts, I'm pretty sure? But I can't figure out how to capture them on camera 🤣

Lighting and angle all play big roles in it, obviously.
Green, purple, and blue- with silver, gold, and pink hints~

i got new Mooncat polishes the other day!
they had a sale, so i gave in and grabbed the top and base coats recommended (something something how they're made doesn't work with the OPI ones I had) AND why not, grabbed three polishes, too, oops~

Holding up two fingers, for my second viewing, over my Thunderbolts* ticket stub.

This movie is just so good and absolutely was written solely for my enjoyment, 100% me, I'm the target audience.

i will say- im VERY proud im sticking w/ it despite how bad i am at it- friend teaching me & i were discussing our natural inclination to just give up the moment we aren't good at things to save frustration?

so to keep on despite days when i can't even do like one stitch?
is very unlike me lol

my biggest issues are NO hand/eye coordination & this messed up thumb, ha

my friend runs the club at our library, & she cracks up watching me do it bc "everyone does it differently" BUT im apparently extraspecial
theres a LOT of full body movement involved in arguing w/it lollol

also had crochet group yesterday-- itd been a minute since i practiced & i was pleased i could still do the single stitch (lollol)

learned how to... idk, double back on it, for a 2nd layer? i dont know terms

was v bad at it, but i am gonna keep plodding along, so!
one day we'll be ok at it, lol~
