Every single character in the story is flawed in their own way, including Elphaba. She even comes to the same realization herself in Act 2 ("Was I really seeking good or just seeking attention?")

Like maybe it's just a difference between people who have seen the musical/read the book and people who have only seen the movie, but literally the entire point of the story is that there's more nuance to "wickedness" than what appears on the surface

My friend group in HS already called me Apple bc we had established "fruit salad" nicknames (long story I can tell another time). But me and one friend had a class together, got bored one day and made this. It was just silly enough that "Apperu-senpai" stuck
