Still think Xal'atath is up there with some of the best villains in the Warcraft franchise despite how I feel about the actual gameplay in retail tho.

I'm kinda looking forward to eventual classic+. I loved SoD and I feel like classic+ that builds on a similar design would be a lot of fun.

Big disagree. Before slayer existed, people only ever trained combat at a handful of locations. People used to camp moss giants if they were actively playing or if they wanted to afk they'd do the wilderness axe hut or the spiders in yanille dungeon. You trained combat camping there for hundreds
