The misunderstanding is in how is done. Which is,simply...put on a quality show, consistently.

The sizzle is why they may tune in, but they'll keep coming back if the steak is great. And they'll tell others if they're excited.

To me, this is simple. We'll see how true "we're still on good terms with AEW" is by simple virtue of whether or not they're booked again.

I have to make it a point to turn my music off for work calls. My "somebody yelling at me" would either be screeching (black metal), growing (death metal) or...literal yelling (hardcore / metal core / etc)

As time goes on, I become more convinced that it's the greatest (and most meta) film of all time.

The landscape is fragmented enough now that catering to a niece audience can be successful.

WWE has always sought broader, mainstream appeal (and there's nothing wrong with that). But I've always maintained that AEW's success is in the fact that their product is catered _to a specific audience_.

Even the concept of fame, in terms ofwhat qualifies and it's varying degrees, is nebulous in the age of digital and social media.

But it's still one of the top commodities that accompanies signing a pro wrestling contact with a national company.

I did an entire academic conference presentation on how The Elite created a new national wrestling company without (despite?) the WWE machine.

Digital media makes it easier to be your own star without having to rely on a corporation.

Bear in mind, that statement came from someone rooted in the previous generation.

I think there is some truth to it, but I also think much of the current generation also cares more about financial and creative security. Which Kross and Scarlett seem to have more of now than when they were in WWE
