Inverse of Asa's "line which is ok to kill and line with refusal to kill"(between cat and criminal) in form of "line which is ok to love and line with refusal to love". Yoru's "Between kin and enemy" lining up with Denji's "Between lover and family".

Yoru holding on to Asa + saving the dove upon memory of Bucky's death (original context of guilt as intro to p2 and Yoru's story to audience via Asa as human & heart vessel) clinging to humanity connection finding middle-ground w Denji to fill its gaps.-

Nuclear portrayed in glory and guilt context simultaneously but Yoru only processes glory as declaration of identity+love.

Fading context in War from Pochita's erasure via Nuclear being forgotten by Yoru despite being aware of its presence in early p2 bringing Yoru to tears from realisation of loss impact and love via its re-emergence and added context.-

-Asa situated as Yoru's compass/shoulder angel in diminishing presence and growing disconnect w Yoru in Yoru embracing devil-like identity losing touch w value of guilt w Asa as carrier. Asa's connection to rational Yoru in early p2 as war grounded by awareness/acknowledgment of guilt in shame+loss.

- (value of guilt still held by Yoru closing off Asa's opener) Yoru basing power in fear/instinct over guilt/doubts even though Asa fearing her puts her at disadvantage + Yoru saying if she kills anymore people Asa's mind would break (in conflation of self w Asa) but still does anyways.-

-(stronger weapon/ability) from participation in war as devil/fighter +Eyepatch guy guilt tripping csm fanclub abt his wife turning chainsaw devil + questioned by Asa if he really "never did anything wrong in his life" +Yoru's condemnation at eyepatch guy casually revealing he wronged his wife.-

Yoru regaining power as War from chainsaw devil outbreak defined by guilt (beneath cover of terror) sandwiched between Yoshida's guilt (hunting Asa in participation of war) and Denji's guilt (loss of family in participation/symbol of war) mirrored in Asa's loss of home-

compared to guilt towards her children> turning point that shifts War's reliance of power to fear/terror over guilt + embracing of irrationality and demeaning of human lives as devil identity in justified animosity towards the enemy.

Asa insulated from guilt towards teacher/class prez her fellow humans compared to guilt/trauma via witnessing Bucky/Yuko's devil corpses due to ignorance + criminal/justiced death contrasted w Yoru insulated from guilt to humans("weapons made from people I kill turn out to be average")

Yoru wants a strong weapon to defeat Pochita but also to go to war with him with weapons made from humans. (Hybrids?)

Early p2 Yoru operating on recognition of human lives weighted on human values for her power as the War Devil + establishing that a strong weapon has to come from a difficult decision and not easy compromise. Guilt contextualised thru Asa in the form of love and shame via Mother's/Bucky's death.

The baseline:

Yoru hating humans is a red herring and Pochita ate the part of her that can feel for/relate to humans bc it allows her to exploit her guilt towards them for strong weapons thus weakening her leading to Yoru possessing Asa to reconnect with that lost part of her thru Asa's guilt. ⬇️
