It's been going on for quite a while. Aitana Lopez was created by an ad agency a couple of years ago. A lot of Instagram is heavily curated anyway so I guess AI was the natural next step. I'm not a fan but I think we're going to see more and more of this.

Already the cracks are starting to appear. These will grow wider and wider in the weeks ahead. Ultimately they don't trust one another and there too many with their own personal agendas. As in the first term expect a revolving door with continuous churn at the top.

I asked CoPilot how much energy is used to generate an AI image. The response was it is equal to charging an iPhone 240 times. One. Single. Image. 🤯

We still don't talk enough about the impact of generative AI on our planet's finite resources.
