Much needed. It's crazy that one man is the major influence not only on Reform but also the Tories and Labour. Three parties saying the same thing. Let's see where this goes.

It's a fair analogy. It's very hard to reason with cult members. πŸ˜•

Can't find myself agreeing with this in any way, shape or form.

And after hitting unfollow, Facebook has made me follow him again. It's easy enough to hit unfollow, but what is Zuckerberg playing at here? I mean it's not even subtle.

I've just had Trump's posts popping up in my Facebook feed. I'm following him apparently. Even though I never opted to do that. I quickly hit unfollow.

Now seeing Donald Trump's posts in my Facebook timeline. I am following him apparently. Even though I never opted to do that. Thanks Facebook. *quickly unfollows*

And just at the moment too when generative AI is exploding. Anyone can create a deepfake video in 5 mins on their phone now.

It's been going on for quite a while. Aitana Lopez was created by an ad agency a couple of years ago. A lot of Instagram is heavily curated anyway so I guess AI was the natural next step. I'm not a fan but I think we're going to see more and more of this.

Good. But the numbers don't add up. There are 150m iPhones in the US alone. If you times that by $20 it works out a lot more than $95mn. Plus tablets and other devices.

A lot of rich parents are very upset at the government for charging VAT on private school fees. Maybe they should instead ask why private schools have put up fees so far above inflation over the past 15 years. www.ft.com/content/852b...

.. or for parkrun just pick a new venue you've not run at before. I achieved loads of course PBs this year that way.

OpenAI doesn't report a single number for its climate impacts - not anywhere, in any way, shape or form.

It sounds kind of obvious but the fact that a company with such incredible electricity hunger isn't disclosing basic information about its energy consumption and associated emissions is v bad..

Cracks appear in Maga world over foreign worker visas Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk argue for skilled visas, but not all Trump supporters are pleased with their immigration views

Already the cracks are starting to appear. These will grow wider and wider in the weeks ahead. Ultimately they don't trust one another and there too many with their own personal agendas. As in the first term expect a revolving door with continuous churn at the top.
