Hey @ccianet.bsky.social, it's time for Big Tech to stop blaming parents and start taking responsibility for keeping kids safe online. MAMA was proud to testify at today's Massachusetts State House hearing in support of the Act protecting children from addictive social media feeds (S30 and H4229).

“These products need to be regulated,” says @wearemama.bsky.social. “The only protections we have right now are at the state level… That’s why it’s so critical that states not be prohibited from keeping their citizens safe.”

Millions of children are being handed powerful devices with full access to the internet, often without meaningful safeguards.

As long as Big Tech companies continue to prioritize user growth & privacy talking points over safety, children will remain at risk.
