Saturday 19th April.
Around 20,000 people turned up in central London to express their anger at the Supreme Court ruling on the definition of woman in the Equality Act.
There was much anger but also much joy at being together in such a large protest. πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

Black in a political sense and not as a personal identity, maintaining that the common struggle as a consequence of racism binds together people under a political identity which can act as a block when united.

I'm staggered by the statistics in the DR Congo. Six to seven million displaced people and around seven million dead in two wars with Rwanda.
It's a conflict fueled by the imperialist extraction industries desire to profit from mining the ores needed for the production of computers.

Bus Workers in @unitetheunion.bsky.social marched on Parliament in London yesterday.
They were demanding a bill of rights. Workers say that they have to work long and dangerous shift patterns and do not get sufficient time for rest breaks. They also say that they are denied proper toilet facilities

So it was all just our lying leftist eyes. We didn't see Elon Musk do a Nazi salute. It was a "controversial gesture" that "sparked debate," and I just awkwardly invaded Poland by accident when I was trying to get to Tesco. I mean, who hasn't done that?

The High Court has ruled that the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) acted unlawfully by presenting controversial benefit assessment reforms as a way to support disabled people into work, without making clear that the proposals also included β€œsubstantial”
cuts to disability benefits and that cost savings was a β€œprimary rationale” for the proposals.

The judge also found that the consultation failed to explain that planned reforms would lead to 424,000 disabled people receiving lower benefit rates and that many would be worse off by at least Β£416.19 per month. The consultation, which ran for just under
8 weeks before the cost-saving changes were announced in the Autumn Statement, was also unlawfully short given the circumstances.

War, disease and poverty, it's how the system operates.
