“I’ve seen it before honestly from some parents, it’s quite unnerving to see parents here be so demanding to their children to the point it likely can get hostile.

At the same time? Some children truly need the guidance to be successful in this society.”

“I offered to show you my techniques since you were curious, I chose to carry you to a place that was less populated. I think if I really wanted to hurt you as someone as my stature, I likely wouldn’t care who sees me do it.”

Saffire wondered, now he grew concerned.

“There’s definitely ways to help you there, took me awhile to get used to the way things are here but there’s honestly not that much that you need to know.

If anything, this country alone has many unwritten rules that you should follow.”

He was confused by that, mainly with the idea that human soldiers attack villages like this to this day.

For someone we that spends more time in the clouds with gods, that’s a pretty weird thing to be afraid of, especially with you not being able to perish eternally.”

”That doesn’t mean you get to look down on us! After all, you’re the one afraid of heights, remember?”

“Well a phone is something that I would have in this world, maybe for you, just for calls. It’s a way to communicate with others from afar!”

“You think my purpose is to just fight battles and please those who claim to be higher than us?

My purpose is no different than yours. You clearly have a deed to complete on the daily, just like humans and Digimon.”

“Hold up… Don’t you have a phone? Many humans do, even I do!”

“There are always a way to assist, doesn’t mean it needs to be physical. You can even report it, there’s an app for people in case they see breaches occur.”

Saffire stated.

“Breaches can look like large smoke clouds on the ground, that’s when a Digimon is located there.”

“I mean, I’m made up of data. Are you really a higher status than me?”

He asked as he raised an eyebrow.

“You are uptight, like I said, it’s people wouldn’t mind allow me to lean on them in such a way, especially knowing it was based out of a friendly gesture.”

Another “hmph” gesture as he looked to the other side with his arms crossed.

“I understand that I brought this up to you in an instant, it’s rough to know how life can feel like it can be too fast and too much to handle.

At least let this place be like a shoulder to lean on, you know?”

“The world is dangerous where I come from, and it’s right underneath our feet. Why do you think I’m apart of a program of Digimon that helps stop the most ruthless from violently entering this space?”

He said as he took a few sips of his tea.

“WEIRD?!”

Why is he acting more offended to that?

“Oh right, I forgot you’re not the average human. They aren’t as uptight like you are.”

He folded his arms and looked away.

“There’s some big responsibilities I need to take care off once I do get my own place. Such as making sure I keep up with finances and more.

In the digital world, it’s not something anyone or myself needs to worry about. At the same time? You’re lucky to still have a house in a week.”

“Yeesh, apologies for that. I was simply trying to make sure you don’t have any issues in your future.”

“That’s good to know, I was worried that I wasn’t wanted here.”

Saffire said as he grabbed his bowl once it was done.

Then he sat on the table Rachel was sitting.

“This is a nice village, truly.”

"Heh, tired already? Yeah, the soup will do that to ya!"

"Maybe it's because some humans actually don't mind that I do that, they also consider it to be friendly.

Most humans could think of Digimon like myself being monsters and dangerous. Being able to cuddle with one changes their minds."

He huffed.

"Try and keep that feeling! Maybe you don't need to live anywhere else if the shrine is the best place for you."

He took a sip of his tea.

"Though, I'm thinking about getting my own home instead of an apartment soon. Though, it'll be farther away from my shop."

"X-LASER! Still have to practice my abilities in case some goons want to step into my way! That'll always be a bad move!"
